EST to GMT

I have some data that I need to turn from EST to GMT since 1997. Anyone got a quick Excel formula???

Or a good idea.

Add 5 hours to get GMT in general. However the clocks can change 1 week different to ours.

The dates are different each year though for both EST and GMT so it would be a fiddle and I just hoped someone had done it before.

YF - you should be able to work out manually when the clocks changed each year with this page: http://webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/g.html

Remember that GMT doesnt change by an hour, GMT is the same all the year round - it is just that everyone revents to BST during the summer.

How about just using it with the EST data?

Its BST I need. Its for a couple of strategies that over the last year work well during London hours so want to go further back.
