Our Internet Group has been on the forefront of helping individuals become more successful investors with valuable research tools and commentary on our main web site: Zacks.com. Our Internet Group is experiencing phenomenal growth and we are seeking someone to fill the post of Editor at our Chicago, IL office.
Responsibilities
• Write articles that provide insight into individual equities, the financial markets, and the economy.
• Select stocks based on specified requirements and provide written rationale for selecting such stocks.
• Edit articles from other writers including insights from our internal equity analysts.
• Develop new content ideas and improve current articles to enrich site and overall user’s experience.
• Interact with product managers, marketing, sales, and technology group, as needed.
• Live, breath and improve the business.
Job Qualifications
• Passion and aptitude for stock investing.
• A strong comprehension of fundamental analysis and technical analysis.
• Previous experience working within the financial services industry (analytical experience preferred).
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Undergraduate degree or higher.
• CFA or CFA Candidate, a plus.
• CMT or CMT Candidate considered.
• Computer and Internet Literate – Ability to master new software programs quickly.
• Competent on Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to do basic coding in HTML.
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Energetic and enthusiastic in achieving business goals.
