Can anyone explain this to me.

I had £2.50 Each Way on a fourfold today.

3 of them won and 1 came 3rd (paying 3 places in that race).

I thought I was going to get more than the 15 or so I got back.
The new girl in the shop couldn't explain it to me and since I'm new to working in a bookies also, I let her off the hook. ( it wasn't in the shop I work in).

Since one of them only placed, does that mean I only got the placed amount for all 4?

I though I would get the winning amount for the 3 winners and then the 1/5th amount for the placed horse...?

One of them was around 5/1 or more and then the others were around evens, give or take

These were the winners. If this helps...
Mac Tottie in the 4th pic is the one that placed for me

In fact...after reading that over I'm more certain that it's just the placed amount for all.

It was essentially 2 bets... one for all the win and then 1 for all to place. Since one only placed, that's the win bet gone.
