Does Leverage matter?

Hey guys,

I have this automated Expert Advisor, and the developer of this software has a recommended leverage to use. I am wondering, what would happen (worst case scenario) if I were to use a different leverage.

Using leverage higher than what is recommended by the developer of your Expert Advisor increases the risk dramatically. In the worst-case scenario, this could lead to significant losses, potentially draining your trading account or even pushing you into debt if the market moves sharply against your positions. It's vital to adhere to the advised leverage to manage risk exposure effectively.

Of course it matters, that is silly to consider. It's very important for everything to be in the right setting for a strategy to work optimally.

Leverage associated to the risk and also margin requirement, if your ea set to use higher leverage, it could lead EA working to open more positions while early position not yet completed, logically change leverage higher, the risk is higher.
