Do i counting right at this profit?

Hi!

We say that a stock cost 10 USD per share.
I bougth 1000 shares. I pay 10 000 USD for 1000 shares and i also paid 3USD for the commision.

The the stock went up to 11 USD per share.
11*1000 - 10*1000 = 1000
(here i pay 3 USD for commision too)

Is my profit 1000 USD then? I feeling so confusing about this, at this time.
How is it about taxes at my profit? 15%?
