Disabling windows XP introduction sound

is it possible to disable the windows xp introduction tune - der der der der der......
It really bugs me.

4. Disable Windows XP Sounds

Having sound effects set for common Windows XP tasks slows your system down. This affects startup and shutdown speeds the most.

Instructions - To disable all Windows XP task sounds go to "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel", "Sounds and Audio Devices", select the "Sounds" tab, under "Sound Scheme" select "No Sounds".

Go to Start / Settings / Control Panel and then select "Sounds and Audio Devices"

Now click on the "Sounds" tab as shown and select the "Start Windows" sound also as shown.
Where it says "Windows XP Startup" change this to "None" and you will be OK
