plan_bucks, a while ago there was a very detailed article on the Darvas method in Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities in June 2005 (code for Tradestation, Wealthlab, Amibroker, Neuroshell etc).
I don't know if Darvas' Box Indicator works anymore, but Darvas wrote a very good book about stocks, which all investors/speculators should read. It's very funny to read - and you learn a ton.
imho, you don't need any software. just look at charts until your eye gets trained enough.
I read Darvas books more than 20 times; the ideas are simple and successful. Just be patient.
Darvas didn't even use charts, the boxes were "in his mind".
