3.40 at Salisbury was a bit of a bummer Kenny.

Anyways, at least you are maintaining your consistent losing edge.

Onwards to the 5.10 at Sandown.

I hope you win even though you will spoil your record of consistency if you do.

Tangible wins at 6/1.

Rock on Kenny - this could be the dawn of a bright new era.

Your losing edge has been shot to pieces though, for which you have my deepest sympathy.

Query regarding profit calculation

Ken,

Your suggested stake on Tangible was 2.5pts. Since Tangible won at 6/1, I would have expected your profit to have been 2.5 pts x 6 = 15 pts. Yet you seem to have awarded yourself a profit of only 10 pts.

Hi Crispy,

I had a total of 3 selections yesterday, they were all on the
same points ( 2.5 pts )

I had 2 selections in the same race in which i had the winner

you were right to say that the returns are 15 pts, but the other 2
selections lost hence minus 5 pts from 15 = 10 pts profit for
the day.

I thank you for letting me know, as i could have got my profit
margin wrong.

Thanks Crispy and i hope that you were on that winner

see you around and try and keep in touch

take care

Ken

It isn't necessary to calculate profits correctly since profits are usually too huge to count.

An outsider spoils the day as---------

Not trying to take anything away from that winner ( 28-1 )

Not less then its 6 previous runs have been run on the
all weather surface, but you can't transfer those performance
on turf.

I did check its turf performances going much further back
and it did not show much to bring it into calculations
and of all the horses, it was that flaming one that made
the difference, you take that away = we would have won
but thats racing.

Felt that i should make this summary of the race,
hence about the winner.

The posting for tomorrow will be more or less
the usual time.

Cheers

Don't worry about making excuses Kenny old boy.

You have the greatest losing edge in the history of the turf.

You should be proud of your achievement ( lack of ). ;)

Forgive my ignorance, I don't know anything about horse racing, but is CountryKen a bookmaker?

Salty, forgive me for saying, but I think your comment a tad harsh.

Countryken has more than one unintelligent approach to gambling.

.

I stand corrected MayoMan.

I should have been somewhat more kind and said something like a " multi-dimensional unintelligent approach to horse-trading".
