vol is down because traders don't trade in December as they don't want to lose any of their PnL before the end of Year :-0 :-0
AND
vol is down because the market is waiting for FOMC decision tomorrow on tapering. :-0:-0:-0

Generally, that means, don't enter too many USD positions this week... 😢

but I need the USD a little more bullish on the current bar .........

hey all

it is literally impossible to teach someone else how to scalp unless its 1 to 1 and a lot of time on the charts ......and even then its not guaranteed .......as we are all different

I called what to watch on that last hour just gone and was watching to see if anything was worth a punt ....

you can see the direction I was looking ......and you can seeboth pairs never moved into new trade territory .....sure I could kid you that the Cad rebounded and I was Mr Scalp making money on the rebound.......but I didnt trade it .....the USD is simply not clicking north at all ......so why take a gamble ?

this is not the time to be trading frankly .......I found some time and sat and watched ..........

nada...........no worries.........Its not life or death that I trade 😎

REMEMBER the 1 edge you have as a Trader that will decide your Trading fate

the decision NOT to trade .........use it for a high % of the time and it wil serve you well..............

sorry i'm busy today.

heres the 1hr action .....USD is light.drifting into sell mode ....AUD and NZD coming north

I would look to be scalping those 2 as buys .......8906-8920 for AUD

8255-8270 for NZD if you get a chance to buy back in that range.the NZD tends to fly fast and furious

watch the hews as well today

yes i know the NZD isnt even on the positive Zero side yet on the 1 hr......🙂

Sorry i wasnt around much ..........work stuff

ok here was the week.........4hr TF on a 20ma ........still the basic
default indicator as always used by me on this thread since day 1..........

I'm showing the Perfect trade this week on the charts .....Buy G/J

I've shown the period it happened and the 400+ pips that were delivered e

would that have happened Trading the standard FXCorrelator on a 4hr setting ?

NO

why ?............well I look for DIVERGING individual Currencies on the indicator to trade

that means I dont start even think about a trade until at least 1 currency is safely above or below the Zero and moving away from the Zero ....DIVERGING

as you can see on this trade ........to take most of it I would have had to sell the Yen whilst still above the Zero and buy the GBP whilst it was Below the Zero ........thats calling tops and bottoms and I dont do that ........its a dangerous Game 😱

and i dont need to ..........set out your system and trade it ..........dont chase other trades and dont get upset about missing pips .....I watch the G8 and if you add things up thousands of pips are available every week ..........so dont worry ..........theres plenty there and wait for them to enter your systems RADAR zone ............then trade to the letter of your system

believe me ...........sloppy and poor execution will cost you a lot more pips than an average system over your trading career
