Brrrrm Brrrrm Brrrrm - Green Lights and the're away.
From a cloud of blue smoke and with the smell of burning rubber car no. '66' (+15.5%)emerges from the back of the grid to take the first bend at least 13 car lenghths in front of 'dabrom'(+3.2%)in second with 'Joe' (+0.7%)following sluggishly from 2nd place on the grid. In 4th, 5th and 6th all bunched together side by side ( all on 0.0%)comes 'Waldorf', 'Martymcc' and 'Uncle' who appears to be adjusting his goggles.
The rest of the field is strung out well behind and in negative territory with 'Rizgar' bringing up the rear, it looks like his visor is badly steamed up.

Pigsy unfortunately didn't qualify and is left to watch the race from the pits.

David who crashed out of the last race is nursing a sore ego at home.

Lap 2

And as they cross the line car no '66'(+6.9%)which appears to be weighed down by rust and filler (no offence Double6) has been passed by 'Dabrom' (+9.6%) who zooms into the lead. In 3rd 'Uncle' (+5.5%)now has a clear view after de-misting his goggles speeding past Joe (+0.7%) who moves back into 4th followed by 'rthakkar' (+0.6%) who moves up 7 places from 12th to 5th.
Cookie and Martymcc (both 0.0%) are having a real old ding dong and cross the line together in joint 6th place. The remainder are yet to emerge from the final bend and commence their third lap and not worthy of note except Hill Farmer who brings up the rear and is barely visible from the Grandstand.

Dab, don't worry about it.
putting your money on it would probably have given it the kiss of death in the competition.
I think you'll get further opportunities with PON.
Steve

Well, I've just pitted and filled my twin tanks with four-star, tweaked the timing a little and rejoined the race. After all, it was designed to run on it. Took all my profits to fill it though!
I may have a few more tricks up my sleeve yet :)

I am stuck in the pits with engine trouble....hope the mechanics fix it before the end of the race

John

Bloody hell John,
It looks more like a rear wing failure followed by total suspension collapse on the exit of La Rouge.
Hehe
Steve

Now what can we expect markets to do....SHP pull off a good deal and everyone bails out.

John

Lap 3

At the halfway point in the race 'Dabrom' (+26.6%) maintains his lead by two car lenghths over 'Double Six' (+24.1%)still in second and both have disappeared into the first bend before 'Rthakkar'(+11.00%)crosses the line in third having overtaken 'Joe' (+1.0%)who moves back in to sixth. 'Waldorf' (+2.0%)has overtaken 'Cookie'(+1.5%)in 5th to take 4th place. The remainder of the cars have yet to complete the 3rd lap.

Wait a minute....where is the third place car from the previous lap ?? It's 'Uncle'(-10.4%) and by the look of his car the wheels well and truly fallen off!! He is LAST and limps back to the pits for a replacement.

It's a funny old game!

Don't worry, John..it's a good deal I think..give it time to sink in and we'll have a ride..I got in today by the way...

Already put a limit order in for morning

Even cautious John cant resist this opportunity

The deal came as quite a surprise to the market and Shire plunged 194p to £10.35. "It wasn't something that the market was expecting," one specialist salesman told UK-iNvest. "It had been expecting some large product type of deal."

Hey Cookie, your chance in life is coming up. News is that Murray Walker is retiring. We'll put your name forward as a replacement. Think of it... travel... Monaco, the States, the stars, the high-life, the money, the fame, the women, phew those women...
Doing a great job here in the meantime, though.
Thanks,
66

'66' - I've done it all mate, thats why I'm divorced and skint !!!

Still got me BMW though - so watch out Waldorf !!!!

Lap 4

And what an incredible race this is turning into with car '66' (+37.9%) snatching back the lead from 'Dabrom (+27.9%) with a remarkable show of Schumachereez and moving further away in front of the chasing pack led by 'Rthakkar' (+7.5%) in third who is still some five car lenghts ahead of 'Waldorf' (+2.6%) in fourth and 'Cookie' (+0.8%)in 5th. The remainder are still in negative territory and yet to make a significant contribution to the race save that of 'Uncle' (-15.7%) who having emerged from the pits clutching a falling knife thrown by one of his SHP mechanics appears to be going backwards. I think he must be stuck in reverse!!

Going into the last lap - who will be the winner??

Good Luck

Murray Cookie

Still plenty of mileage in Gearhouse. News this afternoon of the major shareholder, who sold out and caused a stop-loss landslide, has bought back in. More to come tomorrow, I reckon.
Regards,
Paul.
