Good idea. I'd be interesting in meeting up. Somewhere in the city or central London works for me. I trade forex (home based) but interested in meeting traders in any markets.

I imagine there will be some difficulties for those who travel from outside London, so I'll post another meet next week, on the other hand if you still want to go ahead that's great, if so could someone let me know how the evening went please.

I whole heartedly apologise for last weeks **** up, but you'll be pleased to know that I am scheduling another meet-up in the City. I was unable to make it last Thursday as a direct result of the weather we experienced. I also presumed that some people outside of London would have difficulties getting into town and more to the point, getting back home.
Details:
Same as before, City, Bank tube area on Thursday evening.
You must PM me and I'll PM you the details in response and it will definitely happen this time.

Can anyone tell me if anything happened of this? I did PM hasse as per his post above, re last Thursday but he didn't get back to me. I hope he is well! I think the idea of traders meeting is a great one and I go along with the spirit of the the opening message of this thread. Personally I'm particularly interested in meeting home based, private traders in the London area for trading chat! Feel free to PM me and I will post here anything that results and could be of interest to the thread.

I am fresher in online trading but have more than 13 years trading on China equity market. I am working in the heart of city and would like to join this meetup.
If you need a place for no more than 20 people, i will apply a free conference room in tower 42 with a good view of the city.
The proposed time will start from 630pm to late if I get approve to use it for personal interest.
What do you think about it
Btw, I am planning a 3 weeks holiday next month so it will only avaliable in March and after May.

Your idea is a good one.
However, Hasse is in theory organising the City Network. I say in theory because like Nicos, I too have not received a reply from Hasse.
My own view is that you should PM Hasse and find out what is going on. I also note that Nicos has expressed an interest in meeting with London traders.
