Which one is better to trade with: City Index or FinSpreads? I know that one is owned by the other but just wondering whether there is any difference in trading with one instead of the other like better platform, better order tickets, execution etc. etc. ???

As you pointed out, Finspread is a white label of Cityindex. I don't think there is any difference between the two companies regarding the platform features. I am at the moment not trading with either, but I am considering signing up for Cityindex or a white label, now that they at last have competitive spreads on the indices.

I've noticed that some of the City Index white labels (Barclays and TD Waterhouse SB) don't have the narrowed spreads.

Yes, not much to give away in provision on 1 point spread on the Dow.

Are you sure that they are white labels of City Index?

My Etrade spreadbetting account has now changed to TD Waterhouse recently because they appear to have bought Etrade but they are still a white label of London Capital group.

Yes, it says so in the small print at the bottom.
