i just mean that the rise of china will prolly be like the rise of the USSR in general which chalanged the US and we know what happend there. im not meaning they are the same thing. China has so far to go and will probably never make it.
way way way way to many people are righting off the US, its a joke. one thing in the paper i read was talking about china (the world's super power) actually laughed. america is an absolute powerhouse and i think alot of the views taken are simply because people are anti American. Like all this bull the dollar is going to be worthless and is going to 0 bla bla, ok..well whats the alternative? euros? no thanks!

Chine will not need to challenge US...Why would you challenge a country, whose currency you hold to the hilt....In fact you will try your best to keep it in one piece...USSR was different....They did not have dicky bird dollar in reserve...

...People are not writing off US...but the problem with it's currency, which does appear very fragile...with many countries ditching dollar and investing in gold....I don't think that anyone can make decisions on assumption that don't write it off now, it will be great again one day....!...No you make decisions on situation as it unfolds..!

china is the one causing instability through the bogus exchange rate. if the yuan was floating would it really be 6:1 with the usa or 11:1 with the uk?
with that false rate anyone would think its the uk with trillions in reserves and a booming economy and china with bottomless debt and collapse manufacturing and banking.

...Well with the greatest respect....IMF and US over many years screwed the third world with the same medicine....The exchange rates of India and Chine in 80's were absolutely decimated....Rupee went from 17 rs to UKP to 72 overnight...
But then one can say the same about UKP...which is also overvalued currency...

When business needs an alternative, it usually finds it.
Its the beginning of the end for US superpower status.
Its for the worlds benefit that vampires like goldman sachs dont ruin it.
Looking forward for a more balanced currency which has Chinese/Middle-east/Asian/Latin American
components.

not really, just my own personal views. things rarely work out as people predict, hence why i think china will be a victim of its own success

i fail to see how it is the beginning of the end. I would love to here your theory on how the most powerful nation on earth will just dissapear into the shadows? If it did it would take a LONG time to happen, US aint going no where soon.

out of interest, when china becomes this world superpower and the largest economy in the world bla bla, how will they maintain there economy? there economy is mostly based on exports, but who is going to be buying all this crap when the cost of production will no doubt rise as the country becomes more like the west economically. as i see it china staying a cheap **** hole to make stuff is key to its economy lol.
