I'd like to try a strategy that I've never used previously but I think could be a nice passive income generator if it works.

I want to do bull put spreads 1 standard deviation away from the strike price and within 5 days of expiration.

I have done a few of them already and I will get those posted on here.

I'm currently in an $AAPL spread that expires tomorrow. I collected 290$ of premium while selling the 94 strike put and buying the 93 strike put. I have collected over 90% of the premium and I think going forward if I grab 85% of the premium I will close - but this one will expire worthless and I will keep 100% of the premium.

Edit - This will be done with separate account with expendable money outside of what I typically trade with.

I just got back from the Czech Republic and I was away from the internet. I had a $NFLX Bull Put Spread that expired worthless. Luckily there was no black swan because if I were assigned, I would have been no where to be found.

I realize the export feature doesn't translate well, I will try to get a better way to import my trades.

I was in a $TSLA position today that I had to exit quickly. I took quite a hit on it.

$PCLN Bear Call Spread going to expire worthless today. Made 1200 while risking 4000

It would have expired worthless except I had a GTC order in place for contingency reasons and I forgot to lift it. I still took home most of the premium.

I put in a limit order to debit .24 and take 300+ in profit - commissions but I started chasing, and it ran away. Still in the position - its been 20? minutes or so... up $187 mark price .28 debit Still have a day order for .24 to take about 325 away.

So only 12 contracts filled yesterday netting me 200$ and now the 13 remaining contracts are yielding 300+ on their own. I will let this expire worthless and take the 900$

What originally was a quick 300$ play has become a $1100 win.
 
So due to my employment I have restrictions on my trading and I have utilized all my trades for the month of October. They final spread expired worthless and that finally settled so I can bring my final count for the month.
