Dow has a 1000 point range.Needs vertical height on the chart

Trends do take time to build.I have taken the veiw that the trend started from that point.Pink/purple is 45 degrees/projecting the trend

From that chart it looks a tad oversold now.Deviation from the trendline.Will it unwind ...and go back to trend.?
