Charts at Medved with IB

Hi,


I currently subscribe to LIFFE futures through Interactive Brokers. Can anyone tell me whether I can use this data to call up Futures Charts through Medved Quote Tracker.


Also if so what do I do Step by Step please?

hi jaykay3

start up IB Traderworkstation

go to Configure,

got to API

check boxes for Enable ActiveX
and for Enable DDE Clients

then right click on the line you have for your liffe future
click on 'Details'
scroll down to near the bottom, where it says Exchange (make a note of this) (presumably LIFFE) and Symbol (Z something I think)

then start quote tracker,
press Portfolio
press Edit Portfolio
press Add
enter the info you've collected as

Exchangesymbol

i.e. separate the two with a colon and an @
click OK
close QT an restart it, it might ask if you want to connect to IB, if not try Portfolio .... Start Quotes
