I wonder if there is a correlation between people who can't be bothered to write a proper sentence with capitals and punctuation and those who lose at trading?

It was actually a half serious comment on the slack attitude that can indeed result in losing trades. Trading is a serious business - imagine if you went to a profesional and got such a childish sentence?

You might note that nobody has bothered to take the request seriously and provide an answer. If you want an answer, you have to formulate a sensible question.

does any1 know any good chart software to use on ftse 100

I use MetaStock EOD and have no complaints; you could also try Sharescope - depend on what you have got in mind, really, what type of studies do you plan to use, what style of trading you adhere to, etc...
Failling that, just subscribe to ADVFN or such like, they do give an excellent service.
