Can we manually scale charts in Metatrader ?

Can I manually scale charts in Metatrader ? if not then in which trading platforms I can do that.

yes you can
press F8 -> click common tab -> scale fix.

Is there any way of having the scale on the bottom and right so that it doesn't print arbitrary values ie it prints the start of the week at the dash dividers and round numbers up the side like others do??

I found this and have adjusted it for Alpari.co.uk's version of MT4 if anyone gives a toss. You will have to change the decimal place to suit your broker.

Me, too. Did search for it a couple of months ago but found nothing then decided to have another go after I saw this thread and thought about coding it up. Saved me a few hours. Also saves me adding new lines when currencies breach a new high/low.
