Maybe first start on how did you do between 2010 when you started and now... What instruments do you trade, what is your trading record, average return, max drawdown, etc...
traded US stocks
day trading (10-20 trades per day)
traded part time over the course of 3 years (2011-2013)
2 years with dummy money but real-time data (only now and then as never could get enough time)
About 6 months with real money (but part time again, haphazardly whenever i had time)
final result at a loss about USD1.2k on the USD27k account (massive improvement on my performance in 2001 when i wasted USD 15k in 3 months trading futures).
main factor for the loss (in 2013) was my being always in a hurry subconsciously as my wife was pregnant at a time and i always had my other part of the brain telling me that it is the time to buy a house, which eventually i did, hence no no money for trading.
but i am confident i can improve my performance as i think i do not have these psychologically negative factors. now the problem is i dont have that 25k any more
not even to get the real time quotes for practice .
i am now looking to trade / practice every day but only in the evenings after work between appx 6pm-9pm UK time on US stocks.
any suggestions?
