Can anyone recommend these Forex trading systems/strategies

Hi all,

I have come accross the following Forex systems for sale:

1) 'RapidForex' (also known as 'Amazing Trading Systems') - this is a number of educational packages which also include a number of trading systems. According to the author, these provide very good results. Cost, just short of $300.

2) 'Guide to Day Trading the Forex' by Rob Moubray - his system uses the CCI system. This trading system is also supposed to be very good. cost $97.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who has purchased any of the above regarding their authenticity and whether they are worth the asking price.

It's like anything: avoid anything amazing, 5min, etc. that's not the way things work - that's just the way we *hope* things will work. You're going to be playing against professionals so you'll need to put in a lot of ground work.

There are no shortcuts, you're going to need to practice (demo trading) for a while. Read all the free training material on the web, esp. on T2W.

Buying a system probably won't accelerate your learning much - it takes time, lots of practice and learning from your mistakes... When you start playing small stakes you can use your $300/$97 to trade with.

Before you do anything else, I suggest that you purchase a copy of 'The Ultimate Trading Guide' by Hill, Pruitt and Hill; ISBN 0-471-38135-7 which I was advised to purchase many years ago by a very successful trader/property developer, He also advised me to purchase Stridmans 'Trading Systems That Work'. I keep The Ultimate Trader beside me at all times when trading and dip in to refresh my thoughts frequently. Once you have read it, you will forget all the ' by this and get rich' systems.

To trade the CCI, put lines at +110/-110 and trade when the histogram passes through, makes a bottom NOT A SPIKE and then trade the reversal as it passes back through the lines. Always place a stop immediately behind your trade.

Elsewhere on systems, I'm very much looking forward to getting hold of Curtis Faith's new book, Way of the Turtle.

I have both the systems and they do work but not all the time.
I have purchased many many systems but the only 2 systems I can highly recommend are the ZTL system which is based on trend lines and the News Fx Strategy, based on the economic news release of different countries. Once you have these 2 systems you will never look back and you wouldn't need any more systems.
The Banks, Large Institutions and the full time Professionals use The News Trading Systems.
Since I started the News Trading, I know exactly when I need to trade, I don't have to sit in front of the computer all day. I look on the website and note down the time of the news Release. I set my alarm for 30 minutes before the news is released and spend my time in my garden or reading a good book. When my Alarm rings, I go to my trading room. Yes, I have a trading room with 3 monitors. I have subscription to an Audeo Service which tells me what the figures are. Based on the figures released, I buy or sell and make money on every news. So far none of my trades have gone against me.
News Trading is the best form of trading.

My recommendation:

HectorTrader.com

You can look at his videos that he posts on a daily basis, so you don't even have to take his course to see that he's genuine. I suggest you follow his vidoes for a couple of weeks until you feel that you can trust him.

Also, the first section of his course is open to everyone to view - I suggest you start here. There's hours of training videos to watch, and as you'll come to appreciate, Hector is one genuine guy who is there to help other people learn his methods.

You can sign up for his daily setup email (which you get free for the first month when you take his course). I found this really useful to check my setups at the beginning of every day, and I stillsubscribe to it now - if I take a trade once a month which I would otherwise have missed, then within a couple of pips the subscription has payed for itself.

I traded for 3 years before coming across Hector's methods and it just brought everything together that I'd learnt up to that point.

Just to make it clear - I am not affiliated in any way with Hector's site. I just appreciate what I've learnt from him.

I have not heard good things about the "Amazing Trading Systems," the other one is a complete unknown to me.

I recommend a simple system like Avonko Elite - it's a breakout system that works on an automated basis, and it's a pretty reliable indicator IMO.

I also recommend that before using any system extensively with real money, you work to understand what exactly its doing (the logic behind the trades) and make sure it's not so complex that any problem with any indicator (more indicators, more potential for problems) will throw it off.

Back test, demo test before live testing

iam really interested in knowing more about the ZTL system and the news fx trading.
can you share those systems with me and in return i will give you two of mine ?
really keen on your help.

also, i read on various other forums that the ZTL system is pretty much average with minimal success ? a lot of people had complaints about it. so iam surprised it is working well for you.
apparently there is a new one out called the ZRC system. any ideas about that and if it is any good ?

I would think each system suits different individual and different market. I guess there is no such system that suits all market. I use spreadsheets to back-test some currencies, doing a forward testing and posting my calls on Hiei's Trading System.
