Hello everyone,
I'm a new to the forex market and I'd like to find suitable for me trading tools. I've found something like this http://www.isc7.com/forex/calcu.php, it is a Camarilla levels, DeMark HiLo and Woodies Pivot calculator. Could you tell me, which ones of this levels are the most important ?

Thank you,
Tom

Interesting site. Suprised the calculator does not include regular Pivots.

I am trading FX off 1, 5 and 30min charts and pay attention to the following in order:

Obvious Sup or Res levels which also show on higher time frames

Obvious Sup and Res levels on 1 min

Daily Pivot (inc the related S1 R1 S2 R2)

(Camilrilla)

I don't currently use the later, though several traders I am in contact with do.

Put enough lines on the chart and there will always be bounces to see, so I like to keep it simple.

I use Meta Trader charts with a plug in for automated pivots, though you can use:

Never Ever use less than 5 minute candles. You do not want to see the market noise which is what you will see if you use 1 minute candles. Amateurs who do not know better tend to use 1 minute candles and subsequently lose all their money.

On your screen you should have 2 x Exponential Moving Averages set at 8 and 34 respectively. Also you may like to use a Parabolic SAR set at 34 and a CCI set at 8. These are all Fibonacci numbers and work well together.

Simply trade the crossovers.

Regards

Phil

Hi philhackett

Would you know how to set the settings for the Parabolic SAR on QuoteTracker?

It has 3 parameters , Increment, Min Gap%, Maximum, how do I set this to 34 ?

Many Thanks

Chage the increment to 34.

Use the Exponetial 8 and 34 X over too. This has produced an easy 100+ pips today from cable.

8 + 34 with CCI @ 8 is a simplem and profitable combination. If you use a Keltner Channel as well you will see when the market drops out of its range and trends.

Macd set at 5 8 13 is interesting too. Do not put too much on the screen. Keepm it simple.

The 8 and 34 X over combination alone, is a very simple and profiatble set up.
