Brief Question about Broker Statements

Is there a brokerage that issues a statement illustrating your profit and loss on different positions ?

In other words, I would like to have a statement that would illustrate my profit on 100 shares of X and it would be in green for a profit and red for a loss based on the purchase price.

And an option would be illustrated as being in the money and potential profit and loss if I was to sell it at the current price.

And it would be updated instantaneously or every 5 minutes etc..

I don't recall ever seeing one like that.

I'm looking into switching to http://www.tddirectinvesting.co.uk/
My friend uses them, their statements and interface seem pretty cool and I'm thinking of switching to them myself for that reason.

As far as "scenario"/"what if", not sure they do that. I use a spreadsheet where I enter all my transacs, I know, this is a little bit of an overhead but this is something I want to keep, when changing broker, you will lose all your transaction history most of the time. On that spreasheet, I have a couple of fields, one of them I put in my "What if" and it works out profit/loss based on that quote subtracting com.

Hope this helps.(y)

Good luck

Thanks for the suggestion. In the U.S. TD Direct is a part of Ameritrade.

They were ranked number one in a recent survey I found.

I'll check them out..
