This may sound a bit stupid and I apologise in advance

I trade using slow stochastic crossovers on daily FX charts (standard 14,3,3 setting) and I`ve had some good results, 99% return on 17 trades, see below for confirmation.

Im trying to refine this system and the problem Im having is that a crossover on the daily chart at say 6pm in the evening can reverse and not be a crossover by 12am. When does the FX daily chart change to the next day and can anyone advise on a different way to get more precise signals.

Thanks

John.

The answer to your question on when the new day starts is "it depends on the source". Some charting package do so at around 5pm US Eastern. Other use different times, sometime widely so. You need to find out what the time is specifically for your package.

John, unable to access your account — not registered user, is it demo or real account ?
Would you snapshot (http://www.mirekw.com/winfreeware/mwsnap.html) a couple of charts displaying the stochastic, indicate your trade/s on the chart, also indicate the 'problem' crossover price bars.
