Hi all from Australia, I wonder if anybody would be so kind as to advise me what the best time is to trade FOREX. Also I you can advise which of the free charts are best I would really appreciate your assistance, rgds MarkT

Dont make it hard for yourself have a look at your local currencies and the majors.

The best time to trade FX is anytime other than at the weekends... I know traders as well as myself who have been up at rediculous hours to trade the start of a potentially good move.
However, if you are asking what is a good tiem to trade gbp/usd then the uk and us sessions are the more active. This doesnt mean to say that the asian session is a waste of time personally i'm usually in bed and therefore dont trade it often.

FX is a 24 hour market and can be traded at anytime so fit your the markets around your life and not your life around the markets.

Happy Trading

as Newtron say's, it's a 24 hour global time frame & you aint gonna catch all the moves all of the time, but your own time frame will offer good trading opportunities on most of the majors.

the free charting facilities available are mainly 'retail' based, but nonetheless adequate for the type of spot trading most folk will undertake....try these for starters :

Thank You

Hi AGain

Thank you for your reply. As a newcomer to Forex I appreciate your advice. If you have any other pearls of wisdom - cast away as they will be appreciated

QUOTE=TRADERguy]The best time to trade depends on which currency pair(s) you are trading. Check out this table: http://www.4xmadeeasy.com/ABOUT/timechart.pdf[/QUOTE]

The best time for GBP/USD and EUR/USD:
1. When London and Frankfurt opens. There's always a good move.
2. When there are a big news.
