Best SB Provider for Automated Strategies

Hi,

As the title says can anyone recommend a provider with good software for Automated strategies?

I'm using IG at the moment but the ProRealTime platform doesn't provide automated trading yet. Its been "coming soon" for a year now so I'm a little skeptical about this being delivered at all at this stage.

If you are willing to submit orders using FIX protocol then FXCM with their active trader service (which can be set up for spread betting). I've not yet found anyone actually using it for spread betting to ask their opinion.

I too am trying to automate strategies using IG index and ProRealTime. Did you have any luck? It would be nice to hear how you are progressing?
