I'm thinking Saturday lunch is will be better anyway as it will be too busy and noisy on the Friday evening for a first-time meet ?
Looks like Saturday is winning so far anyway in people's opinions, although it doesn't help when people who aren't even in Thailand start messing with the votes (cheers JT !)

I talked to the TS guys yesterday, I had a massive 640kb of data just not able to get to me.

I have an engineer from True coming in the next few days - not sure if they can sort it out though.

I did the same ( call TS, masive amount of data waiting to download etc ) I called true and they were not able to do nothing, connection in Thailand is perfect. I dont think it will help.

If you try to ping the TS server you will see that you are not able to get to their server, at least thats my problem.

Called a friend how use TS and said that he is OK. So I installed TS in the office (Nonthaburi) and I think works better than at home, but I havent tried for daytrading ( to lazy to stay in the office until 22:00 pm ) I subscribe to Esignal in the mean time to see if I can put their data in to TS or Interactive brokers into Esignal. I am still working on this I will let you know on Sat.

I would guess that Ping & Tracert are blocked at their firewalls - this is pretty common nowadays. I wouldn't read too much into not being able to ping them.

Try Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test to connect to Dallas or Chicago - seems like that just hangs up too sometimes.

I've heard a few people having problems, I think there was an upgrade. Keep in mind you're talking to someone who doesn't even use trade station.

Well - I removed SecuRemote software from my PC & now TS flies from work (mind you we have a 2gb optical link). Some other technical problems were resolved too.

So - how many on Saturday ?

I'll be 3. We should probably book a T2W table or 3 - perhaps the row to the left of the door as you walk in - that would sit probably 10 of us.
