To answer some questions, firstly, the program will only run with Windows and Internet Explorer. Also your browser settings should allow Active X controls, which may require lower security settings than your current. A window will pop up asking whether you wish to install and run the .CAB file - click "Yes". The install should then be very fast (500K only).

At the request of some members of this forum, I can verify that I am the creator of the ActiveX backtester, and it is perfectly safe to install & run on your PC. If you have problems please PM me.
