Hello
I’m looking to back-test my system (trading intraday FTSE100 Futures)- before even paper-trading. From my researches to date, a good way seems to be - open a gold account with ODL/Mybroker (I think their gold plan provides historical intraday data for FTSE futures) and run it with Sierra charts. I considered is99.com\disktrading but according to some trade2win posts, their data can be unreliable and I don’t want the hassle of having to correct it.
tickplusdata.com is another data provider but this is a dearer option than Mybroker, as is tickdata.com and esignal.
Any other suggestions/comments would be appreciated - even if only to say back-testing is a waste of time.
Thanks in advance,
Ja. S.
