Anyone up for rating some early-stage startups?

Saw this on techcrunch - seedrs - basically you can invest anything from ten quid up on UK startups and then retire if they become the next google

Like any good investor I wouldn't dream of making a decision on my own :innocent: so anyone fancy going through the options there with me and picking out the cream? There are some good'uns among the usual mugs...

Hi encross,
Interesting post. Have been involved in doing financials for start up companies, I haven't looked at the link cos on my phone at the moment, but one of the key problems is access to decent info (data):
What data (financials? micro = company?; macro = the market?; qualitative data - quality of product/staff? etc) can you get hold of?
Who provides/verifies the data?
With that in mind, how do you propose assessing them as worthwhile investments?

Can you also provide one example start up you think is good, and link in all the available data you have?

Thks.
