I'm trying to figure out what the benefits of trading Forex or Currency futures are. Has anyone traded both? Which seems to have lower overall transaction costs. Same trends?

Spot has tighter spreads.....

Spot is better in almost everything except one problem. Trading spot, you trade with your broker. Conflict of interests is obvious. Futures are traded on exchanges. It is a fair play.

If you trade the EUR/USD then go with the globex future as its a fair market with a 1 pip spread....

No bucket shops for that one.
