I think instead of falling 10% and then racing back up again the market is absorbing any selling and will sit here until its ready to go higher.
There will always be plenty of buyers at lower prices.

The dow has fallen 0.7 of one percent, it is still UP 0.3 of one percent on the day.
These are tiny fractions of the 92.8% rise from last March.
