here is a basic backtest of Barjon's (kaufman's) method.
has a look at the weeks movements up to a point, and then trades counter to the previous action.
if thursday was preceded by 3 up days, then we go short. if preceded by 3 down days, then we go long. similar for fridays, basing upon monday-thursday's action.
in terms of trading the next day, then it doesnt look too promising, sadly.
when holding for several days though, then it may have some merit, and i have done some combinations on the other worksheets.
all in all, it might form the basis of a trading method, but in isolation, then i dont think it is worth pursuing.
