Anyone here use their services?

Maybe I am a tad cyncial but I have been using them as one of my accounts for about 6 months and I think they are getting a bit greedy with some cunning tactics.

Firstly, they upped their leverage to 500:1... A sure fire way of making money from newbies but also, since the addition of a decimal point, the slippage has been terrible.

Prior, you'd have to get 3 whole points away (for example) to get requoted but now, because there is an extra decimal point, thats a LOT easier to slip, and slip, and slip again...

Anyone else finding this?

Yes slippage has deteriorated as of late and I'm finding myself trading longer TFs.
Had a nice 10 pip scalping system going but the bad fills, slippages and requotes have rather spoiled it.

And it's getting a little confusing.
The extra decimal point was not introduced for our benefit. It's giving me a headache, no way can any of Alpari's 'customers actually wanted an extra decimal place.

I think they will just lose clients to a four decimal place broker. Such as Onada.

Might give IB FX direct access another go - or have a revisit to currency futures.

Fortunately we are the retail customer and we can shop around. No point complaining just move on I say.

I haven't placed a single trade this week that hasn't been requoted. It wasn't this bad pre the extra pip.

Not sure if this will help, but there is a parameter in tools/options/trade /deviation which determines if a requote is automatically accepted. This previously defaulted to 3 to accept a quote if it was within 3 pips of the current quote. With the extra decimal place you will be requoted if the price movess by 0.3 pips

The value needs to be multiplied by 10. I.e should be 30 if you are willing to accept a requote 3 pips away.

Bingo!!! Forgot I did this on the first day the extra dec pl was introduced. No wonder I haven't been requoted much.

Yea i kept getting requotes and I'm sure stop hunted. I am still new to all this but I have a true price feed on a different package so I know when there is some suspect lagging or manipulation going on. I am moving on...

I think there have been some streaming problems. I got disconnected about 5 times yesterday when other streams worked fine. In fact, I just got disconnected about a minute ago.

I don't think they hunt stops, though.

Yeah, I've been having connection issues too and no, they don't stop hunt.

Glad it's not just me finding this: I was requoted twice today and I remember on one particular occasion getting requoted 6x on one trade exit.

As far as the feed goes, I have an IBFX account up next to Alpari and still find Alpari's feed is superior to IBFX - it times out much less.

i use fxpro and they r having connection problems also requotes are coming up more often. but overall i am happy with them
