Does anyone here know how, and could kindly help me set up an alert for when price prints a new hourly candle on the other side of a trendline?

Hi wasp, are these trendlines drawn manually ? If they are then I can't see how you would get meta to recognize when price has crossed the T L.

If the trendlines are an indicator in meta, then i'm sure it is possible to make an alert.

Hand drawn lines but, even each trendline hand drawn is numbered separately and there's only ever one or two on the chart at any given time so shouldn't be too confusing for it!?!?!

Just have to think of the right coding instructions and anything can be coded.A clue I have is use time periods/bars and price distance between each bar .

There must be a way of describing the line/s to a coder

while im sure there are many, I use "DeMark trendlines", an easily gotten custom indicator for MT4, which appears to do the same thing and should be easily coded, methinks !
