Hi,

in short, i'm just going to graduate with a 2.2 at Bham Uni doing Maths and management, i'm 21, and i want to persue a career in banking/trading. I'm probably going to do a masters in financial mathematics aswell during 07/08.

Basically all i want to know is do i stand a chance?, and if i do how hard is it going to be, how can i go about, are there any self-learning tools on the internet that would give me an introduction?

Not my area, but have you considered phoning them , a bank I mean, or try to make an appointment with them to have a chat about their business and your business etc?

Now whether they consider this "Bad form" or see it as an upstart "pimping his ass" I wouldnt know. Just some thoughts.
