A simple way to get more virtual screen space is to use a program to expand your desktop.
For example, Sdesk is a free program from www.download.com which allows you to specify a larger size of your desktop (up to 32000 x 32000 pixels I think.)
You can then select which area of the desktop you want using hotkeys. You can drag program windows from one area of the desktop to another.
Not the same as actually having the monitors but a useful way to organise your charts/broker software/other apps.
