Can anyone please recommend a good US stock broker? I need my account to be based in the US not here.
I almost joined Schwab but their system does not allow me to place a limit buy order AND
a stop-loss order at the same time. With my British stock broker, I always place a stop-loss order first (even though I don't own the stock yet), then I place a limit buy order. This way I ensure that my stop-loss is in place BEFORE the trade executes. With Schwab, I'd have to monitor my orders all the time and once a limit buy has executed, rush to the site and place a stop-loss order! As I have a day job, this is not an option for me.
