HI, I have playing with the PRT software for a little and have developed what I think are a couple of quite simple effective strategies. Problem is I am little stuck with regards to programming my stop loss. I would like it to be placed 1% below the lowest low of the 10 bars prior to the entry...

    Share Price Performance

Does anyone know of a site on the internet where you can view the share price performance for a list of equities (e.g. FTSE100), over various time frames e.g. 1 day, 1 week, 1 month etc. I have searched for such a resource but have been unable to find anything suitable. Thanks in advance Simon

    Why spreadbet

As I understand it, unless you have more than $25k in your broker account you can't carry out more than 3 daytrades each week. Also there are issue surrounding tax i.e. spreadbetting is tax free whereas trading in U.S. shares is not (assuming you make a profit!!). Hope this helps. Simon
