Guys, I can't find any reference to this stock (Pan Global Corporation) on this Forum, which trades on NASDAQ under the symbol PGLO. http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/PGLO:US The behavior of the price is astonishing because it appears to have no revenues or assets but recently had a market cap...

Psychology Getting Started Trading on Borrowed Time – Part 2

I'd be interested in hearing the authors views on which markets are easiest for a private investor to beat. I have traded pretty much everything over the years and find the major FX markets impossible to beat, no matter how much research I do. I've come to the conclusion that the Gold market...

    Why is Volatility so low?

Can anyone give me a few reasons why volatility has been so low in the Equity markets for the last 12 months, considering the potential for serious crises in Europe and the USA? Is everyone sitting on their hands? It's the lowest level of volatility I have seen in 30 years.

"Drachma to weaken if it exits the Euro" - huh?

How did you figure that out? Regardless, it doesn't answer my question. My question related to the Drachma weakening AFTER the first level it is set at, when whoever sets the rate would surely know that it would depreciate immediately afterwards, regardless of what rate it was set at. How...

"Drachma to weaken if it exits the Euro" - huh?

We frequently hear financial commentators saying that "the Drachma will weaken considerably if it leaves the Euro." I just don't get this. What will it weaken from? ie What is the starting point from which it will weaken? The Drachma doesn't exist any more, so there is no 'current level'...

Money You've lost and Made in One Day?

Lost $4,000 in an hour trying to catch a falling knife when I bought Facebook shares as they dropped on their Opening Day. Haven't traded them since and was glad I had a tight stop.
