    Brexit and the Consequences

Tim & CV, All the dead people I know, friends and family who died of covid, none of them had had the vaccine. This is not a joke. I doubt very much that either of you hold high positions in institutions which compile, collate and research all of the research done around the world on this...

    Brexit and the Consequences

Ok Tim, going back to your central point, that the fact that leaving the EU trading block isn't working out very well so far is down to the fault of British people that voted not to leave. That covers a lot of people. Who are these people? And what have they done to insure brexit is not...

    Brexit and the Consequences

It is one thing to accept that you will personally be less well off by voting to leave the EU trading block and be fine with that, you sound almost proud of that fact, as though you are altruistic. But it seems very amiss for you not to mention your voting decisions impact on everyone else who...

    Brexit and the Consequences

So the failure so far of leaving the largest trading block on our doorstep (and within our own continent) is all due to the people who voted against leaving. 🤣🤣🤣

    Asian Coronavirus Outbreak

I completely agree everyone has the right to an opinion in a democracy and I wasn't suggesting otherwise. I said it really annoys me that the richest friends I have also don't pay taxes and also are the most politically active in activism I know. I don't like it. But I would still defend their...

    Asian Coronavirus Outbreak

Paying taxes! Ha that's one thing that really annoys me. Sure traders don't do too much for society, I trade it goes the territory (my wife works clinically in a hospital). In fact all my family work in the NHS or education. They all pay taxes. All the professional traders I know pay any...

    UK Politics

Last Wednesday BJ stood up in parliament and said he was proud of the way his government has handled the coronavirus. This exact same Wednesday the UK'S death rate was greater than EVERY OTHER EUROPEAN COUNTRY ADDED TOGETHER. That is hard to take in. The UK had more deaths than the combined...

    Do you sacrifice

I'd almost forgotten those heavy days of leverage.

    Do you sacrifice

That was depressing. You have just reminded me of how much I would have earned over the last few months if the FCA hadn't tightened up leverage. Ha, glad I looked in!

How accurate are the teachings- Reminiscences of a stock operator?

To my mind, each trader has to match their own emotional responses to market participation and life interactions to a trading style that proves to be profitable. So the emulation of other great traders such as JL is probably futile. But may act as a guide to understand one's own market actions...

Oliver Valez Trade for Life Program

Ha ha, I met him in London years ago, what an amazing guy, like a TV evangelist. Some sales people have such great manipulating almost mesmerizing skills. I have a great respect for the talents of these type of abilities but imminence annoyance at how these abilities are misused.

New to Windows and online trading

Very similar to my style, we were probably both influenced by the same trader. (my first post was just two Jesse.L quotes for fun.) I would suggest you go online and find some brokers that offer free demo accounts with charting packages. Then search for the particular charting packages on You...

Is there a UK spreadbetting firm that 4 hour candles open at 2.00 pm, 6.00 pm etc (rather than from midday)

Just to clarify, you need to alter the time zone settings on your charting package to GMT+2, such as Greece/Belarus etc.

    Hi I'm a new member

A must read for all here. http://www.financial-spread-betting.com/Losers.html And the funny thing is the link is to a site promoting trading. Edit: As for me it doesn't matter if I have traded for over 10 years or never traded. All that is anecdotal. And people will believe what they want...
