The US itself has huge debt. And, really my point was that stock markets in general have risen despite all the negativity; after all; all the european stock markets have performed similarly to the S&P 500. S&P 500 represents the global stock market indices in general anyway i think.

Every article i read these days; is about negativity, and debt, and how **** everything is, how ****ed europe is, greece oh nooo debt, the housing market etc etc THEN, i look at the S&P 500 cash index and rofl.

To summarise in a practical way my feeling on the subject: - Algorithms now react to news realises so quickly, that getting filled as a retail trader; particularly if manually, is just going to give you big slippage and get you in at a price, after all the initial algo, fast ping, big traders...
