sorry im a bit late picking up on some earlier points - but a few people have mentioned inflation and interest rates and noone I have noticed linked the two.
nominal interest rates (what ur bank charge you) count for nothing. What is really important is the real interest rate - which is the...
ive noticed a few people on here saying trading is a zero sum game - or for every loser there is a winner. I cant agree with that.
If I buy a share at $100 and sell it at $110 then who is the looser on this transaction????
My profit or loss is completly down to a change in market sentiment...
Coming from an economics background i recommend you dont worry about it. What I have found is that market sentiment at the time determines what economic theory is to be applied to a piece of data, and therefore what is going to happen to the market.
Even with the economic theory behind me i...
Stevet,
Fully appreciate what you say, and you have made some very valid points. Sometimes you elicit some pretty irrational reactions from people that do not agree with you - and a lot of your points are ignored.
I agree in the sense that many people see the training course as all they will...

Paper trading using basic support and resistance with EOD candle signals have not given results...
Homeschoolma,

What they found was that they started off with a good recommendation, and as results were about to be released revised them down. Results would come out better then...
Sorry to lay into the British, but I find the "cannot do" attitude quite tiring. More time is spent comming up with reasons why something cant be done then actually doing it :)
Anyway, my guess is the people on this board generally wouldn't fit into this generalisation or they wouldn't be here...
CURE and WFT??
Homeschoolma,
Would like to know why you have choosen these shares. Im new to this game, and it wasn't obvious to me why you had choosen them.
