How does this P/L Day calculation work??

I was just idly glancing over this tutorial page from TD Ameritrade, mostly just to see how it relates to the TD Ameritrade platform and interface, but then I realized something here doesn't make sense. I thought I already knew this basic stuff... Here's the example scenario they're...

Can anyone please explain what the heck Webull is doing to calculate my account total profit??

The calculation for total P/L for a portfolio should be simple, right? It should be just: (current portfolio value - cash deposited)/cash deposited x 100 Right? This is how it's done in Robinhood. I can double-check the % that the app is showing by typing the numbers manually in a calculator...

Buying into a SPAC before vs. after the new ticker?

Ah, thanks! So, at the point in time when there is either a concrete announcement of a target acquisition, or just a rumor that they've started talks, it is not yet determined what the ratio of conversion of [ESC] to [MUNC] shares will be, correct? Once the deal is finalized, then we will know...

Buying into a SPAC before vs. after the new ticker?

I don't get it: why can't anyone answer this fundamental question? Isn't this one of the largest forums having to do with stocks?

Buying into a SPAC before vs. after the new ticker?

There's been a number of IPOs recently that were done via the reverse merger (or whatever it is--I don't really understand the details of this mechanism for going public) by using SPACs. If there's a publicly-traded SPAC already in existence, and it is going through the process of taking some...
