Sharescope Gold download - possible virus

It was the original .exe file download, not any share info. I don't know what bad stuff it does, I'm no expert but I do take lots of care with my computers as I do all my financial stuff online.

Sharescope Gold download - possible virus

win32:PUP-gen It was called this, can't get a screenshot as it was in DOS as it was a boot scan not a normal scan. Like I said if it's my system I'll sort it but I didn't find their response that helpful and wee bit too quick.

Sharescope Gold download - possible virus

I dl this for the trial and ended up finding a virus after running a boot scan. SS are telling me it was already on my machine, which is fine but not much help. It was their exe file that had the virus. If anyone else has dl this recently, you might want to run checks as it didn't trigger my...

Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

No, it's not really unless you are older. I think there was a study that says if you really want to live a millionaire lifestyle, you need in excess of £2M and if you read "How to get Rich" by Felix Dennis, he has a table where 10M is comfortably poor.

    Best Thread £10k wipeout

Yep, I agree with this..... I'd live in a cardboard box with my other half but it can cause a strain even in the best of relationships! Not knowing would have been something that would cause me difficulties. Don't go chasing the losses. Feeling under pressure to make that money back will not...

    Best Thread £10k wipeout

Bet you would be a bit narked if your wife "lost" your savings? Better if you are using joint money to make joint decisions, it's not the lost money that is the issue here, it's the loss of trust and lack of communication. "We" as a couple have been completely stuffed by RBS and so I really...

    Sticky Introduce Yourself

Hello and my name is..... Wee notice says I'm to post so here goes... My name is Jayne, I have a reasonable portfolio of property/equities but would like to trade instead of invest and hold. Currently reading lots of books, surfing, etc. At some point, I'll get on with actually doing...

What are all your histories like?

Speaking as a girl, the most attractive thing a bloke can do is combine confidence with humour, then looks won't really matter. There is always another girl to chat up, house to buy, trade, poker hand......

Capital Gains Tax to 18% ?

It works if you lived in the house before you let it (within certain time limits) but is not ok that way you have suggested though I'm pretty sure it happens and slips through.

    Career path after Alevels.

It's a bit like if you have money you can make money, the trick is getting the first job..... Put nice clothes on and take your CV into firms, learn to blag a bit, look confident, not arrogant and always be polite, if you are turned down, write a note saying that you would still be interested...

Which is the best spreadbetting site?

Yep, but I'm making a different point about Finspreads, I'm fairly calm about trading, it's the continual issues I have with not being able to log on the irritate me... I would stop using this forum or my online banking if I couldn't log on all the time, I think 7 or 8 attempts just to get...
