Weekly forecast for S&P 500 cash 2011

The US numbers don't look very promising and the European problems of likely debt default - so I shall say down this week - 1247

Sentiment was strongly negative last week but the S&P managed a slightly higher close after just falling short of touching the 200 day moving average. I still personally think we've got lower to go this summer as the breadth indicators have more room to go by traditional standards. But I'm going for a short term bounce this week as the 200 day moving average is often a great place to buy so could generate some buying pressure.

1280 again for me please

Play it again Pat... 1296 for me please - two weeks running.

I think the DOW will eventually test 1150.

Bearish overall - but expecting some upside on Euro/Greece news spin this week.

average = 1275
weighted av = 1275

up 8
down 5

There is only 1 more week in this quarter so isatrader is uncatchable and has won the 2nd quarter. 2nd and 3rd positions are still open though.

Woo hoo! Am very pleased with that. :D
I'd like thank the people that made this possible, he he:
#1) The NYSE Bullish Percent Index ($BPNYA) - head coach of my team, and made a superb call of when to go defensive at the start of May.
#2) The NYSE Percent of Stocks above their 200 day moving average ($NYA200R)
and finally
#3) The NYSE Percent of Stocks above their 50 day moving average ($NYA50R).

Without you guys I wouldn't have any money left in my account :whistling

I applaud your honesty !

I'm just that kind of guy.

Now if you'd have given me £20 to go to the bar to get a round and the round came to £12 but the barman gave me £38 change thinking I'd given him a £50 instead of a £20, you would only have got £8 back off me.............;):p
