Ultimate Forex Predictor

Thanks for your reply Darren. I have had this software for about 20 days now and must decide pretty soon whether to keep it or return it. I have spent many hours (with my wifes help!) optimising as many variables as possible. I have eventually found the best currency pair is the Euro/Jpy and I use 15, 10 minutes and 6 minutes charts.
The 15 minute is the most accurate so I take the signals from that when there is confirmation from either one of the other two. They have been very accurate so far with my only problem being conflicting signals arising i.e. I might be in a long trade and then receive qualifying signals to go short. I did all my back testing over 10,000 bars which is a fair sample as this takes the 15 minute data back to last year.
If you try to optimise this on 300 bars it will undoubtedly change in a very short period of time.
I would like to talk to you personally preferably on the phone if at all possible about your experiences. If you would PM me perhaps we could talk?
I would be happy to post the settings I have obtained on this forum if anybody is interested.
Happy trading. Kenb

Just another post for people who are thinking of purchasing TUFXP.

As a user of the software I think that the best comment about it is made earlier where the post mentions the 30 day money back guarantee and the fact that it isn't enough.

I totally agree with this post because as a user of the software there is one major major problem with anyone who wants the software to help them trade.

It will work one week or two weeks or maybe a month (the 30 day money back period) but once the market changes tack then all of the settings you used for that particular week, month or what ever will be virtually useless and trust me I have experienced this.

In short, the previous poster is, in my opinion, spot on when they say that some people will win over the 30 days and some will lose and the vendors know that this is going to happen but like so many system sellers they will take the refunds for when people like me make the purchase as they went through the 30 days winning.

Trust me any settings that win will also help you lose once there is a sea of change in the market and they have your 2K.

I have been thinking of buying TUFXP for a while now and have been monitoring all the info sources I can find on the web. I am wondering, has anyone tried changing between markets depending on which market is trending at the time?

I am thinking of using an hourly bar chart to look for currencies that are trending strongly and then using TUFXP for entry signals in those markets and only take the signals in the direction of the trend. This might mean changing which pairs I am trading on a weekly basis but it should give a much higher ratio of wins to losses.

Has anyone tried anything like that already?

I wish you well but take my word for it I have put in a lot of time and effort and although I can have good weeks I then have a bad one to offset it.

The point I was trying to make is that by the time your 'good' settings stop working and you realise, your profits have all gone and you are back to looking for another range of settings that will work for the market at that time.

I sincerely hope you make a living out of it but your post is a tad confusing because you say you are going to make a living out of it soon but the software is overpriced?

I didn't want a program that you just booted up and left but at the same time I don't want to see flags, pips, etc every time I go to bed which is what you end up with because of the amount of time they are in your head.

I wonder if its a coincidence that just as the folks were reporting the UFX Masters bunch to the OFT - they have decided to close their doors to new members...

hmmmmm

"Something is rotten in the state of Denmark..."

They are now apparently offering "managed accounts" for their service....but don't you have to be FSA registered in order to do that??

UFX Masters
I really hope no-one falls for their latest "cash generating scheme". According to registered numbers in their forum 66 people have already parted with over £1K for settings which have failed to produce the promised 400pips per week. They have been reported to the FSA by several of their clients and now they want you to sign over power of attorney so they can manage your IG Account!

The settings they have "developed" are widely available on other internet forums!! Don't waste your money folks. A 5min candle crossing a pair of MA's (36 & 58) is hardly rocket science!

If you have tufxp - just do a little digging and you will find better places out there.

An email to "the masters" (even that term is a joke) brought the following response:

I phoned the 'Masters ' and I was very underwhelmed by the response. The young man was unable to give me answers to questions I had about the stats posted on the site. He said he would e. mail me with answers to my questions. That was over 2 weeks ago. Nothing. He really didn't seem to know what he was talking about.

Hi Jamnewt, yes I did thanks.
I have returned TUFXP for a refund so I thought it best not to bother you.
Sorry for not responding !

is anyone using graham lauries settings at cashmaster if so have they back checked his results against his blog

I think you'll find the general consensus is that he's seen as one of the good guys (for instance, he doesn't charge for his settings!) and his results can be trusted.

If anyone is thinking of selling their copy of TUFXP can you please PM me?

Due to the success of our settings, I have several buyers lined up who would like to buy a 2nd hand version.

The going rate for a pre-owned copy is £800 - £900.

Holy grail of answers

My opinion that mechanical systems based on these things won't work is however just my opinion based on my own knowledge and experience. I could well be wrong but if I am It is unlikely that such a system is for sale as it would generate it's money from the markets working towards taking all the liquidity it can handle for itself.

LOL. You're funny Tony. Keep up the good work!

There are good mechanical systems on the market but, it takes quite a lot of time and, sometimes, money, to sort out what is good and what is not.

For forex traders, there are several specialised fx forums that have some excellent trading systems threads. The creators are quite willing to share their ideas and their templates (+ indicators) for FREE. Most of these free systems produce consistent profits.

Alan, could you point us novices in the right direction?

Thanks in anticipation.....
