Your Reg S stock cannot be sold for 12 months

http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/search.jsp?term=royal+petroleum+corp

Guys the above is where your shares are quoted. Dont get too excited though as pinksheets is an OTC (over the counter) securities market. In other words not freely traded an on an exchange but just creating a market so spreads can be a nightmare.
Your Reg S stock cannot be sold for 12 months EG:

The Off-Shore Scam Under a rule known as "Regulation S," companies do not have to register stock they sell outside the United States to foreign or "off-shore" investors. In the typical off-shore scam, an unscrupulous microcap company sells unregistered Reg S stock at a deep discount to fraudsters posing as foreign investors. These fraudsters then sell the stock to U.S. investors at inflated prices, pocketing huge profits that they share with the microcap company insiders. The flood of unregistered stock into the U.S. eventually causes the price to plummet, leaving unsuspecting U.S. investors with enormous losses.

The link below will fill you in. Sorry but you've been scammed

Has anyone managed to sell there shares with RP yet?

I e-mailed them asking for advice on this issue, David replied with a load of brokers I could use.
One of them being Saxo Bank, called them and they told me they were no longer dealing with PR?
The other brokers were from Germany which you have to open a account with before they can do anything (i.e have 10k in your account)
E-mailed PR again telling them about this, David relied saying that there were problems with Saxo Bank that have now been resolved and he will be in contact soon?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated, just want to sell these DAM shares
:(

Guys be careful as this is how they work. A lot of these companies do what is called a reverse takeover into a US company that is already listed giving them a listing but not with the stringent rules as listing say on the LSE. Just beware your next call isnt from Biogenetics with a new prospectus saying about the merger about the new companys future and that A: If you purchase the new stock you will receive extra shares when the RP are transferred into Biogenetics shares or B: In order to transferr your shares into Biogenetics you have to pay a transfer fee or risk losing them. Even C: an offshore broker offering to take your stock off you but you having to transfer upfront a fee bfore they will take your stock.

Just out of interest why did you pay in Euro's. Sounds like you sent your money offshore which is a big no no anyway. If you do purchase anything at the very least only transfer the money in the UK or the jurisdiction where your located. EG FSA in the UK.....

Just be careful in the future and put it down to experience.......

Remember there are people out there who have had their Ar*e slapped more than once so your lucky.....

once more thanks for the advice i know this is a bad investment but some constructive advice is what we need not just i told you so`s the stock is being sold WERE DO YOU SELL THEM

I,d be very aware of anything like that you see on a bulletin board as a lot of these people carefully pose as investors in the hope that you google it so everything these days comes up on them. Your problem is that the share is not publicly traded on an official exchange so hence nowhere to sell it. As i said it sounds like you sent your money offshore as with the Euros mentioned so you donat have any recourse in the UK. I would think the best thing to do is firstly look at the amount of firms ripping off UK customers:

http://www.fsa.gov.uk/pages/Doing/Regulated/Law/Alerts/overseas.shtml#t

then next i would fill this form in on the FSA website to alert them and then give them a call to see what they can advise you to do:

http://www.fsa.gov.uk/Pages/Doing/Regulated/Law/Alerts/form.shtml

Have a read of these as well to as it may make you understand more of whats happening to other people and not just you and will make you more aware of how thay work.

royal petroleum

I received a email from Mr David royal petroleum. do you have brokers? you need to get the shares free trading into the euro clear trade.
no51eys I bought the shares first time in my life as for investment. I dont have any idea.

i does not matter that you dont have a clue there is a learning curve in this i am pretty sure that at the end of this the shares will sell it just beggers belief that nobody knows how to sell them

No51

I think the reason nobody knows what to do or is offering any advice is that the shares you bought (I'd still verify them to make sure you haven't bought fakes though) are incredibly specialist and also traded on markets that virtually nobody has any interest/experience in.

Have you called the company and asked them, what about contacting the original brokers who were involved in selling the shares in the first place (NOT, Knoble Lynch because they never existed). Every company that comes to a stockmarket has to have a finance firm behind it who's involved in the placing of the shares. What about the company's legal firm, perhaps someone there might be able to help you, or at least offered some advice to another person who's in a similar situation to yourself.

Good luck anyway.
