Picking the RIGHT software

well heres mine anyway, looks very good but appearances are a little deceptive, been and read some pages from there members community, nobody shouting from the rooftops ,but did read someone saying that some people had paid ten thousand dollars for the program and that they had some neck charging members $275 for a days course, there also trying to get you to trade forex with it based on turning points, which look like supp/rest.sort of things.

Hi All,

Regarding the title of this thread, I would say that the RIGHT software is different for everyone based on their personal circumstances and needs.

Just like there is no universally RIGHT trading system, there is no universally RIGHT trading software.

Thanks

Hurrah!

Specialist subject. The bloomin' obvious.

Nice site BTW....

Sometimes the "bloomin' obvious" isn't so obvious to most people, which is probably why this thread was started in the first place.

Actually this thread was started by Pat in order to evaluate the myriad of trading software packages available.

What's your golf handicap BTW?

I may have stated what you consider to be the "bloomin' obvious", but if it's so "bloomin' obvious", then it wouldn't have taken 46 posts to get there.

I wasn't critising the thread itself, nor the starter of the thread, but i do think that the thread has most certainly not achieved what the thread-starter set out to achieve.

Golf handicap? - any reason you ask, or have I not understood a clever joke or something?! If I haven't understood, feel free to explain it if I've been none too bright!

Thanks

Damian

Hi rols,

For the record, my golf never seems to get any better.

Whoever it was who said: "the more I practice, the luckier I get" hasn't seen my golf.

Thanks,

Damian

I believe it was Gary Player.

Perhaps you are practising too much and not playing enough.

By coincidence, trading is often referred to as 'playing' the markets.

I was going to ask here but on reflection thought it might be better to start a new thread for Trade Decision software - the blurb looks good

For anyone looking for a new software system package I can recommend having a look at Jack O' Club's Journal where one vendor's software is being traded ( paper ) before the daily event not in hindsight.
