Just crushed my account - almost - what now?

Demo account is better for new traders who want to learn about trading without losing any money. Once they reach a point of being consinstantly profitable on a demo account, they can open a real account and trade small sizes.

In this case they don't have to pay for it - to find out if they should or should not trade.

PS I started with a real account straight away and paid for the lessons (it sounds ridiculous, but I was not aware of demo accounts at the time). Probably it could have been less expensive education if I've started with a demo first.

What is it with you guys?

Can't afford to lose 50c a trade with Oanda?

Seriously - SIM trading is worse than useless. It's just that most people are not aware of the better options.

SIM has one purpose and that is to get used to a new platform.

demo trading is the worst thing you could ever do in becoming a trader, ever.

The fact is learning to trade takes years and you will lose money. so pony up and pay your tuition like a man

Just ring your broker, apologise for your mistake and they will give you a refund. Simple really.
