Sticky Introduce Yourself

Hello guys,

Have checked this forum on many occasions but never felt the need to join. However, things have changed. I am looking at the possibility of getting into the Forex trading market. I am not an absolute newbie to markets. I do 'trade' on Betfair - I use a professional Betfair-Platform bot, have dabbled in Binary Options (big, big mistake) and lastly my wife is an intra-day trader.

Looking forward to coming back more often...

Cool! I got a little expiriance in the forex market, it is so fun! So many different ways to trade. Play around with demo acc and then find youreself a strategy to test! Always follow the rules of youre trading plan and dont ever doubt the strategy or youself :) Good luck

New Member Introduction

Hi. I have just registered with Trade2Win and would like to introduce myself.
My name is Adam and I traded spot FX for a major US investment bank in London for 15 years (1990 - 2005).
I traded all the major FX books before specialising in USD/DMK (yes, there were currencies before the EURO!)
These were the heady days of interbank trading and money brokers (voice) before electronic broking took over customers gained direct access to the interbank market and the fun stopped.
I eventually became Chief Dealer of the Spot Desk before retiring and taking a long sabbatical from the markets.

Now, fully refreshed, I am about to start trading again from the 'other side of the fence' as a day trader.
The markets have changed significantly since I last raised a phone in anger and so I have joined Trade2Win to touch base with like-minded traders and swap information and advice.
I would describe my new trading style as a short-term, intra-day jobber, using technical analysis (candlesticks, trend lines, patterns, RSI, Stochastic, Fibonacci) and a healthy dose of gut feel, based on my previous experience in the City.

I look forward to developing a network of mutually beneficial contacts within Trade2Win and welcome comments and questions from other members.

Good luck to all!
Adam

Hi everyone, my name is Graham and I am new to Trade2win and new to Trading. A few weeks back I decided that I wanted to do something with my money. In the past I have enjoyed it with nice holidays and cars but after the arrival of my son in October it is focused my mind on trying to maximise the capital we have, so my wife and I have agreed to give the markets a try.

So far I have read 4 books, one of the books was based around fundamental analysis but I am interested in the Technical Analysis approach. My line of work is within data and analytics so I feel comfortable with graphs and trends.

First of all my focus will be on controlling my equity, quickly get out of mistakes and focusing on not damaging the pot. Slow and steady growth and learning through success and failures.

I am looking forward to reading and getting involved in discussions.

Hi all,
My name is Neil Hills.
I,m 52, married and live in Brisbane Australia.
Been interested in stocks etc for years, but never done anything serious.
At a point in my life where I,m willing to learn about how to trade rather than get rich via seminars.

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here so here goes, hope it won't bore you hehe. Anyways, I'm Ezekiel, but fellas call me Zeke. I'm 33, never married, no kids and in love with all things related with 'entrepreneurial', if that makes sense. I love seeking knowledge that interest me from A to Z, be it from learning to shoot a mini movie on my handycam to knife fighting to selling stuff via drop shipping to ethical hacking to learning to speak Zulu amongts other things . Got the bug of trading in general way back in 2004 after reading about Dan Zanger and decided to make my first step at trading in 2008 while learning about W.D Gann and been actively involved in day trading FX since 2012, with ups and downs of 'cos and proceed to have more grey hairs along the way too.

Hi I've been in Aussie stocks since the 90s and in the last couple of years tried teading CFDs but got better results in US options and Swiss stocks. Strategies based on revert to mean seem to do well in many markets.

New to this site

Hello my name is Mike. I have been trading futures unsuccessfully for about 8 years and pretty successfully for 1 year. I initially traded ES futures then strictly TF futures which i believe suits my style a lot better. My style is simple I am not much of a holder I exit into profit pretty quickly. Anyway, I happy to become a member and look forward to learning more and teaching what I know.
Thanks.
